The Aqua Art Fair and the show with Gabriel Fine Arts themed “Aqua” inspired this work. Miami, its atmospheres, and the ocean were right next door. I love the energy of the water right next to the art fair. I actually finished the piece while I was at the Fair with Gabriel Fine Arts.
I hope this piece brings viewers healing and peaceful feelings. I want the viewer to see dimension, different parts of the image standout the longer it is looked at.
The salt in the painting relates to the salty ocean. The scent is everywhere you go near the beach. The light is unique there. I needed a calming visual to contrast from the hectic fair.
